The prices below are dependant on the boiler having been serviced to manufactures instructions within 18 months and fully accessible. Boilers fitted within cupboards that need to be removed to gain access will be charged extra. Please note boilers fitted within the loft area must have a fully boarded area with steps into loft area. The area must be free of insulation and have lighting. Prices below the cash price. Please add .50p per item if paying by cheque supported with cheque guarantee card. |

Please note all the above costs are for a yearly service on boilers \ gas fires \ and cookers that have been installed to manufacturers instructions and are accessible. All appliances must have a data plate giving gas pressure and gas rate etc. and should have manufacturers instructions, for all appliances and where applicable sufficient free air to comply with manufacturers instructions. All other works charged at hourly rate see Labour charges.
In the event of any appliances failing, and is at risk DANGER it will be made safe with your permission by disconnection and a warning notice issued, (if this is refused it will be reported to Transco) a charge will be made and when the faults are rectified a retest fee will be applicable.
All the above covers the Manufacturers maintenance instructions and the issue of a certificate. For the Landlords Safety Record Inspection a Gas Soundness / Drop Test may be needed to comply with Health and Safety.
Carbon monoxide (CO) is produced whenever any fuel such as gas, oil, wood, coal or charcoal are burned. You can’t see or smell carbon monoxide, but at high levels it can kill a person in minutes. If appliances are not working properly or are used incorrectly, dangerous levels of CO can result.
The figures below will give you a rough cost of running your boiler providing it is set-up correctly and has been serviced to manufactures instructions.
