Well I have seen it all now, good quality string to hold the F&E tank in place. The problem with this one is the whole heating system, extension and loft extension was done by a chap who thinks its dead easy to do this sort of work. Lets just say the extension work is just as bad as this F&E tank.

After doing all this sup-standard work he sold this house and made loads of money and allegedly set himself up as a builder,,, sorry I should have put cowboy in front of that!

The photo below is some more of his handywork can you spot the mistakes? You think its the electric  cable that can be seen that runs a shower off the ring main.

The problem for me is the lid, the base the tank is standing on along with the timber support, then we have no  insulation to prevent the stored water going over 21 deg C in the summer months. The overflow pipe is fitted in such a way it's as good as usless
