A Catch 22 this F&E tank belongs to an elderly couple of very senior years, many byelaws have been overlooked with the person who installed theses tanks not understanding why regulations are put in place.

If you look on top of the Heating F&E you will see the ball valve that was removed that had a ridged silencer tube that could allow the water to siphon back into the mains water! Can you spot any other problems?
