So you think its easy to fit new F&E tanks. Both these tanks are illegal and contravene water bye laws. When I first looked into the loft both tanks were covered over with lagging, the type you would lay in your loft, plus a bit of 4 x 2 that had been laid across the top of the domestic hot water F&E tank (one on left) had fallen into the tank and had started to grow white mould, nice stuff to wash your mouth with.

The problem with using roll lagging could cause some of the lagging to fall into the tank, which in time will fall to the bottom and it could be pulled into your cold feed which could cost you a lot of money to get it removed.

The amount of bye laws that have been contravened is more than 3 can you spot them?
